  • Danyela Zamudio, Sunday School Coordinator

Hello my name is Danyela Zamudio and I am the Sunday School Coordinator at St. Peter's By-the-Sea. I got involved here as a summer intern in 2013. I fell in love with the children, ministry, staff, and have been working here ever since. I grew up in Ontario, CA not to far away from here. My parents took me to Calvary Chapel Chino Valley since I was four years old, they raised me in the church and set a firm foundation in the word of God. I accepted God into my life when I was in second grade, started serving at CCCV soon after. Since then I have served in Worship, Children's, Family, Jr. High, High School, and Couples Ministry. I am blessed to continually be able to serve God with my time and talents. I attended Ontario Christian Schools and went on to get my B.A. in Psychology at Vanguard University with a minor in Biblical Studies. Because of my personal walk with God I grew a heart for serving children and families. Southern Nazarene University found that 85% of Americans become Christians between ages 4-14. 'Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these"' Matthew 19:14. My desire as the Sunday School Coordinator is to set a firm foundation and be continuously available for the kids. Email Danyela here.

elders

Ruling Elders - Elders participate and vote with the same authority as pastors (Teaching Elders), and they are eligible for any office. Elders should be persons of faith, dedication, and wisdom. Their manner of life should be a demonstration of the Christian gospel, both within the church and in the world. It is the duty of elders, individually and jointly, to strengthen and nurture the faith and life of the congregation committed to their charge. Together with the pastor, they should encourage the people in the worship and service of God, equip and renew them for their tasks within the church and for their mission in the world, visit, comfort, and care for others, with special attention to the poor, the sick, the lonely, and those who are oppressed.
